"Bus & Bus Mobilty Business" is the first event under the umbrella of the new Greener Cities project (http://www.greenercities.eu). The project has been initiated by NGVA Europe member Raufoss Fuel Systems, together with the industrial companies Cavagna Group, Fornovogas, Metatron and Ragasco.

• Direct promotion of CNG technologies among bus manufacturers and transport operators/municipalities throughout Europe within their common meeting grounds and interest groups

• Provide information and solutions on all aspects of CNG technology

• First action is the participation of a group of related industrial companies representing the complete technological chain of equipments needed for built and operation of CNG buses  during the international Verona Bus show in November 2009

• Parallel to that it is targeted to present the case for CNG/biogas during the annual meeting of the UITP bus group by renowned experts from the public transport sector and with product related workshops on the booth

NGVA Europe is supporting this event, because the potentials of NG/biomthane as a vehicle fuel are especially appreciable in cities where city buses consume 25-30 as much of natural gas and biomethane as normal passenger cars (the power of a bus engine is 3 times higher and a bus is used 10 times more at an average during a normal working day than a private light duty NGV).
