Partner of the NGV industry: HAM expands NG refuelling network

NGVA Europe member HAM, is a compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid natural gas (LNG) distributor and transport company. HAM's commitment to the improvement of the environment has taken further steps as HAM recently inaugurated two more NG refuelling stations in Spain. One service station is situated 117 Km away from Madrid (motorway A2) and is supplied with LNG and CNG gas pump, the second one is situated close to Barcelona (motorway A7) and provides a CNG gas pump; both stations are opened to the public 24 hours (see pictures).

With those two stations, together with two more stations in the periphery of Barcelona, HAM clearly supports the use of the natural gas as a vehicle fuel. Also, in the next months there are planning to open another four fuelling points around the north-east of Spain.

HAM offers energy global solutions, from the supply to transport by road, as well as engineering, design, installation, maintenance, telecontrol or distribution, with the aim to be the leaders in this sector, offering unique and innovating solutions and giving strong support to new technologies. The typology of the facilities and their uses can be for distribution (population) or industrial.

Distribution plants

The important Spanish gas companies have put their efforts along with us to supply Natural Gas to villages where the gaspipeline network has not arrived yet.

Since the year 2002 HAM supplies Natural Gas to cities like Albacete. This means that during the months of higher consumption the energy needs of about 150.000 people can be covered, with a daily traffic of 20 tanks. This plant is provided with 7 tanks of 60.000 liter each. Besides, through a forced system of pressurization without pump, unique in Europe, the plant supplies gas to 10 bars. HAM offers a complete service in cities like La Roda, Villarrobledo, Cuenca, Puigcerdá, Jumilla, Almansa, Benidorm, Baqueira, Artesa among others

Natural Gas Vehicles

Our experience in the cryogenic field, the gas sector and service stations made us giving strong support to a growing sector in Europe, the Natural Gas Vehilce industry. Today HAM is able to offer NGV installations to natural compressed gas powered vehicles, usually small cars, vans, etc… and liquefied natural gas (LNG) usually for trucks.
