Norway's greenest filling station opened

NGVA Europe member Lyse is a supplier of Eco- friendly fuels in the Stavanger area in Norway. Lyse now operates four filling stations offering two products,  Biogass33 and Biogass100. The fourth station, in Sandnes, and the two new stations opening this summer, at Klepp and Randaberg, also have fast chargers for electric vehicles. Lyse has now four public filling stations for biogas/ natural gas and one station for 35 buses in the Stavanger area.

Lyse has received financial support from Transnova (a Norwegian state initiative – see Fact Box) for the new station that can offer both Fast Charging and carbon-neutral Biogas. Car owners have the option of filling the fuels of the future. - This is, as far as we know, the first station in the world with the combination of Fast Charging of EVs and Biogas, and it will be Norway's greenest filling station. The two offerings complement each other well. The electric car is I well suited for private us, especially for city driving and for municipalities and companies who have limited need for space and range. Cars that run on Biogas will have longer range and is a good choice for larger vehicles with more space. The first combined station is now open, and within a short time period, Lyse will open two more stations with the same offerings says Audun Aspelund, Business Developer at Lyse.
The two next stations with combination of Biogas and Fast Charging will be at Klepp and Randaberg.
