NGVA Europe elects new Chairman & Vice-Chairman

Madrid/Spain, 17th June 2009; the members of NGVA Europe appointed a new Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the association during the annual General Meeting of the members, held in Madrid, Spain, on June 16th.

There was a unanimous vote of the members on electing NGVA Europe's former Vice-Chairman, Trevor Fletcher, from the Hardstaff Group in the UK, as the new Chairman of NGVA Europe. Dr. Gerhard Holtmeier, who is Chairman of the new German erdgas mobil, was elected as NGVA Europe Vice-Chairman.

Erdgas mobil recently joined NGVA Europe an A-Level member, which qualified them to apply for the vacant position of Vice-Chairman of the association. Erdgas mobil is the new German Marketing Holding of the German gas industry and nearly represents 90 % of the German gas companies.

NGVA Europe thanks Peter Boisen for his dedication and performance as Chairman of NGVA Europe throughout the last year.
