Below find a Press Release of NGVA Europe board member The Hardstaff Group:
A series of manufacturer-backed trials will take place in Sweden during 2010 to demonstrate the advanced technology, which delivers unparalleled results in reducing CO2 and all major tailpipe pollutants. Stadspartner AB, a hi-tech company specialising in vehicle technology, appointed as main distributor with exclusive territory rights for Sweden, will be supporting the trials.
“Our dual fuel technologies are being accepted all over the world, and customers will benefit from the strong industry and partner support we are receiving. Our technologies significantly reduce the impact that road transport has on the environment, and we are very pleased to be working with our European partners in securing a cost effective and proven alternative to crude oil in Sweden” commented Trevor Fletcher, MD of the Hardstaff Group.
The Technology
The OIGI® HDX-I is a sophisticated high speed electronic system that reduces the amount of diesel injected into the cylinder, equally replacing the fuel with natural gas without affecting engine power. This unique and patented system does not require access to the manufacturers ECU in order to control diesel reduction and injection timing; and also retains OBD2 systems therefore preserving the integrity and control mechanisms designed by the manufacturer.
