NGV System Italia dates back to 1996, bringing together the most signifi cant companies whose products allow and ease the use of natural gas in transport. Information and experiences of common interest are exchanged among the industrial and commercial entities, covering all the sectors, from planning and engineering of vehicle refueling equipment to components and vehicles themselves, and their maintenance.
Outward, the association builds up the channel for common initiatives in the field of regulations, communication, and commercial operations, in a dialog with all national and international institutions.

As an institution, NGV System Italia has set down very challenging objectives, that is to establish the conditions for a further development of the sector, this goal involving to promote a set of updated regulations, capable of meeting the needs of every day increasing and more demanding customers.
