Main activities of LEIGNEL Conseils CNG CONSULTANT

Three main activities are proposed to companies looking to use gas fuel (CNG)for their transport :-
-CNG Stations
Compressors evaluation – high pressure permanent storage volume – Number of dispatchers to fulfil customer requirements.
LNG will be integrated within LEIGNEL Conseils service offer as soon it will be marketable in France.
-VEHICLES
Priority to introduction of "dual fuel" technology for average and long distance transport operations.
- PRODUCTION & USE OF BIO METHANE in transport operations in France – This activity is just starting in France. LEIGNEL Conseils proposal is to assist industrial companies

LEIGNEL Conseils CNG CONSULTANT is an independent office in the service of companies (public or private) which decided to abandon gradually the usage of oil products usage and look for the use of a recognized fuel of replacement : GAS FUEL ENERGY CNG
In France the gas fuel "CNG" has been adopted very early by public transports. Currently the fleet of CNG buses are relatively important. (2.500 units by 01.01.2010), but the situation seems now stabilized. On the other hand this energy of replacement is not yet used in good conditions. Very few CNG vehicles are operating in private companies (Industrials or transporters). First HDV trucks converted "dual fuel" have to be operational in the near future.
The interest of the use of the energy gas for fuels of vehicles is not yet fully recognized by deciders. Nevertheless, it was obvious from the demonstration on environmental and economic performances obtained by the fleets of buses, which were evident and deserved no hesitation. In addition to that a national protocol was engaged by French Government for CNG advantage by 2005 and ambitious objectives have been taken. Today, nothing has been done and we still have no public CNG stations network.
Important CEE project like GASHIGHWAY has to avoid France and prevent some countries, which are gas fuel users (CNG & LNG) : UK, SPAIN, etc. to be connected to the network. There is a guilty incoherence in the decisions of some policies. Hoping that the pressure of the statutory changes will have financial repercussions which will have to oblige companies to use gas fuels and will took manufacturers towards a new production policy of CNG vehicles.
In this context, the fields of "LEIGNEL Advisor CNG CONSULTANT" activities concern the assistance to the preparation for the use of the gas fuel :
a) - CNG stations
- Preliminary studies:
- Evaluation of needs concerning the compressors - the volume of necessary high-pressure gas permanent storage availability to satisfy the operational customer requirements (forced by service to avoid any waiting time, etc.) - Number of distribution posts (dispatchers) to be planned according to the customer organization.
- Preparation of the specifications in order to cover fulfilment of the customer requirements.
- Search for industrial companies which can satisfy the request of the customer (equipments supply, technical installation, maintenance).
- Potential partners got in touch with the customer and the search for agreement to finalize the project.
- Assistance or direct project management, according to the

need of the customer.
NB : As soon LNG marketing introduction will be authorized in France LEIGNEL Conseils will integrate this possibility in its service offer.
b) - VEHICLES (Mainly HDV Trucks and buses)
In the trucks domain, sector privileged by LEIGNEL Conseils, (because of Jacques LEIGNEL experience of 20 years on projects and goods transportations activities) and because the offer of trucks OEM is very limited, mainly for HDVs trucks, (tractors for average and long distance) is the target privileged by LEIGNEL Conseils, in order to introduce "dual fuel" technology
c) PRODUCTION AND USE OF BIO METHANE in transport operations in France
This activity is just emerging in France. Some industrialists intend to start this production by reducing the use of their biogas, at present essentially reserved for the electricity production.
LEIGNEL Conseils proposal is to bring them an assistance for the use of their production by facilitating the stop of the use of natural gas for companies already using CNG vehicles or to facilitate the conversion of their current diesel fleet (trucks or busses) in technology "dual fuel"
