Jyväskylä Innovation Ltd (established in summer 2006, previously Jyväskylä Science Park, established in 1987) is a non-profit regional development company located in Central Finland. We provide industry development services and management and coordination services for related extensive development programmes. Energy technology, especially bioenergy, is one branch of expertise. Within the energy technology sector, the business activities of SMEs are being strengthened by creating new research and product development environments to serve the business community, by commercializing existing research know-how, and by initiating cooperation between companies and research institutes in order to support commercial product development related to the energy markets. Jyväskylä Innovation Ltd. (and its’ predecessor, Jyväskylä Science Park) has been a coordinator and a partner in several EU funded projects related to energy issues during the past 10 years. In the past few years we have been coordinating several R&D projects on regional scale related to promoting the uptake of biogas technology and especially upgrading of biogas to vehicle fuel quality. |
