Long Profile The Cryostar Group- Specializing in equipment and expertise for Industrial Gas, LNG, Hydrocarbons and Clean Energy, Cryostar is an international company serving customers worldwide. The company has a turnover of around €150 million, 90% of which are exports.
Founded in 1966, Cryostar is present on all continents, supported by its business centres and subsidiaries. Today, we combine the resources and competencies of a local network with decentralized, customer facing teams with our management and research headquarters in France.
Cryostar delivers pumps, turbines, compressors, heat exchangers, automatic filling stations, LCNG/LNG and LCBG/LBG refueling stations, small scale natural gas and biogas liquefaction plants, and power plants to customers with the most demanding requirements. Cryostar’s  innovative solutions have a proven track record of improving customers’ process performance.
More than 30 years of experience and world-wide presence has developed a strong ability to adapt to all situations and ensured Cryostar to accumulate many references as a supplier to LNG carrier-building shipyards in Japan (Mitsubishi, Mitsui, Kawasaki), Korea (Daewoo, Hanjin, Hyundai, Samsung) and in Europe (Chantiers de l’Atlantique, Fincantieri, Astilleros de Sestao), equipping LNG carriers with compressors and heat exchangers. Cryostar is also the only supplier for the Boil-Off Gas reliquefaction systems for the Q-max vessels for Qatar gas.
Providing equipments (turbo-compressors and pumps) for natural gas & biogas liquefaction plants (Mexico, US, China, …), Cryostar offers also, on top of that, complete liquefaction solutions.
