NGVA Europe member Cummins Westport provides a link to a fuel calculator on their web page that will allow you to check if the gas specification you have will meet the engines requirements. Cummins Westport natural gas engines can operate on CNG, LNG, or biomethane which meet Cummins published fuel specifications.
The Cummins Westport fuel calculator can be found on http://www.cumminswestport.com/fuels/fuel_specification.php. You will need to know the engine model - either BGas+ or CGas+ with Lean Burn technology or the ISL G with Stoichiometric technology.

The minimum methane number requirement for the C, B, B Gas International, and L Gas Plus engines is 65 or greater. The ISL G requires a minimum methane number of 75 or greater.
To ensure the fuel you are using meets the required specifications, we've provided an online calculator for your reference. This specification covers the natural gas fuel requirements for the following Cummins Westport automotive spark ignited natural gas engine models:
ISL G • L Gas Plus • C Gas Plus • B Gas Plus • B Gas International (BGI)
To use this online calculator, fill in the Fuel Composition values so that the total equals 100%. The Results will be calculated automatically. Methane Number, Lower Heating Value, and Sulfur Content criteria must be met to pass a given fuel for a specific engine. Contact your Cummins Westport representative for complete details on the fuel standard and fuel testing specifications.
