The GasHighWay route to 2050-Final Seminar of the GasHighWay Project-1st March 2012, Diamant Centre, Brussels
More than 110 participants have attended to the Final Seminar of the GasHighWay European project. This project has been in progress since 2009 with the aim of promoting the uptake of gaseous vehicle fuels, namely compressed natural gas (CNG), as well as the production and upgrading of biogas and using biomethane as vehicle fuel. The objective of the project was to promote the realisation of a network of filling stations for biomethane and natural gas reaching from the north, Finland and Sweden, to the south, Italy, in other words: the GasHighWay.
Interesting contributions from DG MOVE, DG Ener, Cabinet Kallas, EESC and companies such Gasum, Westport Innovations, Fiat, MAN... have presented their latest developments within the NGV industry.
